Meet Me at the Great Tree is an original children's television program that is full of fun and a variety of teachable moments. Viewers who tune in daily will meet the host, Miss Palomine, and journey with her to the Great Tree in the center of Midlandia, a fictional community filled with unique characters like Harvest the farmer, Dewey the librarian, and Beaker the scientist, not to mention other kids who are there to learn and play with the enchanting host. And who could forget Socrates the squirrel, Miss Palomine's furry, funny, and loveable sidekick!
Each week of programming features an overarching theme, such as "Making Friends," "Hobbies," and "Four Seasons." The daily activities for each week follow the theme and viewers will tune in each week to watch the introduction of the theme, craft day, cooking day, game day, and story day. Viewers will learn all sorts of lessons on topics ranging from how to be responsible and what it means to treat others with kindness and respect, to the letters and their sounds with the help of Carmen Cookie and the rest of the Little Lincoln Letter Characters. Each day also features a "Word of the Day" that is connected to the weekly theme and a "Question of the Day," which is designed to answer many of the questions that kids ask and wonder, "Why?" Each episode is action packed, beginning with a prompt to "Get Up and Get Moving" and sing and dance to the song by the same name. The show is designed for young viewers who are ready to be entertained, have a lot of fun, and learn a few meaningful lessons along the way!
